I love this way of buying clothes!

Yes, it helps maximize your wardrobe and your budget. If it doesn’t meet that criteria for me—it’s not coming home with me. Is this something your currently practice Debbie?

I try to. Sometimes I love the item so much that I want it anyway lol. But yes I try to do this.

“Sometimes I live the item so much that I want it anyway”

Haha that made me smile. It’s fine every now and then to just treat ourselves. LOL.

"We fall in love with who we imagine ourselves being when we wear it." This has been my entire shopping strategy to date.

So many women shared that “vision” with you. I’ve done it myself several times. I have thought oh this will look great when I … fill in the blank. It’s a hard habit to break sometimes. I often preach dress for the person you are today. Right now. Not who you think you’ll be down the road. 💕

Cindy, you hit the nail on the head! So true about not always thinking through purchases when I see something I like. Thanks for the reminder to be more intentional.

You’re very welcome Lyn. It’s quite easy to get caught up in the moment—especially when things are priced on sale/clearance. Taking a few minutes to think it through can make a huge difference in what you end up owning and wearing. 🥰

Natalie—is this something you think you’ll try?
